EMIEL JOOSTEN
Emiel, from origen dutch, attended a college in Tilburg, specialized in insurances. He left for the Costa Blanca in 1996.
He owned a successful insurance agency in Altea before moving to Mallorca in 2015. Through his newly started activity of renting out holiday villas for an international tour operator, he discovered his passion for beautiful properties.
Due to his extended network and the trust he had built with homeowners the step towards selling houses was taken.
In 2022 he met his partner Petra. His enthusiasm spread to her and together they started Joosten Real Estate.
At the beginning of 2024, in partnership with architect and friend John Marsh, they investigated the possibility of extending the Joosten Real Estate portfolio by offering high end timber frame houses.
After a series of virtual meetings and a personal visit to the factory in Riga an exclusive partnership with Frame House was established.

JOHN MARSH
John was brought up in the UK London, and attended University there to train and qualify as an Architect in 1977.
He has travelled widely in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and set up his own Practice in London in 1983.
He ran this business for 40 years and moved to Mallorca in 2020 from where he continues his operations in London.
John decided to build his own house on the island and made contact with Frame House to build a Passive House in timber. It is expected that the house will be completed in December 2024.
During the process a relationship developed with Frame House and John now operates, together with Joosten Real Estate, under an exclusive partnership with Frame House, to import and lead the building of high end timber frame designs and modular houses throughout the Balearics.
